Two lenses in front of a grid of glowing holes: through one the grid blurs toward its edge, through the other it stays sharp.

Dynamix or Zenn?

Compare

Both are freeform — cut to your prescription. The gap between them is that Zenn is also calculated for your frame and compensated across the whole lens.

Which one is for you

Dynamix

Choose it when

Everyday wear at a working budget — the best value in the range.

Its limit

Look through the middle and it is sharp; toward the edges, clarity falls off as the geometry dictates.

Zenn

Choose it when

You are sensitive to edge blur, wear large or curved frames, spend long days at screens — or your prescription is beyond the range Dynamix is made in, where the Zenn designs take over.

The full reasoningRead less

Dynamix optimizes the lens for your line of sight. Look through the middle and it is sharp; toward the edges, clarity falls off as the geometry dictates.

Zenn adds Edge-to-Edge Compensation: the optics are corrected at many points across the whole surface, so the prescription you get at forty degrees off-center is nearly as true as the one straight ahead. In wear, that means your eyes can travel instead of your head. It also adds Smart Add, tuning the surface for screen distance.

Choose Dynamix for everyday wear at a working budget — it is the best value in the range. Choose Zenn if you are sensitive to edge blur, wear large or curved frames where the periphery is most of the lens, spend long days at screens — or your prescription is beyond the range Dynamix is made in, where the Zenn designs take over.

As prescribedWhat you get

Optimized for the line of sight

Corrected across the whole surface

The same eye, turning. Where the surface is optimized for the line of sight, what you get drifts from what was prescribed as the eye travels off-center; where it is corrected point by point across the whole surface, forty degrees off-center is nearly the view straight ahead — which is what lets your eyes move instead of your head. The drift is drawn to show its direction, not its size.
